Align is a student-run fashion and lifestyle magazine at the University of Oregon. We publish a new issue each term, and I have had the opportunity to be a member of Align for over a year. For Align’s winter issue, the theme was 4/11. My mind immediately went to gossip columns, drama, and Hollywood. One of my favorite movies is The Bling Ring—based on the real-life heist done by seven Hollywood teenagers who broke into high-profile celebrity homes—and I based on a shoot on it. As an art director, I developed the entire shoot concept with locations and outfits.
